For venues

What your venue gains from a self-service breathalyser

SOSVENT fits your operation without changing it: we supply the machine, the maintenance and the consumables; you supply the space.

SOSVENT installs a self-service breathalyser in your venue with no upfront equipment cost: we provide the machine, the maintenance and the mouthpieces, and you provide the space. The machine charges per test, runs without your staff stepping in, and the venue keeps 30 % of every test taken.

This page sets out the model from the business side: what it adds, what it involves and what it commits you to.

SOSVENT, self-service alcohol testing service for venues

What your venue keeps

The user pays €2 per test by card, phone or contactless. The venue keeps 30 % of every test, that is €0.60 per use, without spending a euro on the machine, the installation, the maintenance or the mouthpieces.

These are arithmetic calculations across different usage levels, not income forecasts: the real figure depends on each venue's footfall and on how visible the unit is.

Nightclub with 150 tests a week

€90 a week, around €360 over four weeks, concentrated on Friday and Saturday. A calculation, not a forecast.

Pub with 50 tests a week

€30 a week, around €120 over four weeks, with no involvement from the bar team.

Bar with 15 tests a week

€9 a week for the venue, around €36 over four weeks, even at low usage.

5 % of every portable unit sold with your QR

Beyond the tests, each venue gets its own printable QR code: if a customer buys the portable breathalyser (€59.95) after scanning it, the venue keeps 5 % of that sale, around €3 per unit. It is settled in writing alongside the per-test share.

Venue investment: €0

Machine, installation, signage, maintenance and mouthpieces are all on us. If the unit stops working, it costs you nothing.

First installations in Spain

SOSVENT is at the start of its rollout, with the first units in the province of Girona. This is not a franchise with hundreds of machines already placed: it is a new service being defined venue by venue.

For a venue that has a practical consequence: joining now means first-wave terms, direct contact with the person running the service, and a novelty argument that can only be used once in each town.

First-installation terms

30 % of every test, 5 % of every portable unit sold through the venue's QR and €0 investment, reviewed together a few months after going live.

The first in your area

While no nearby venue offers it, the difference is yours. After that it simply becomes the norm.

Direct contact, no middlemen

You speak to the person responsible for the installation and the maintenance, not to an outsourced support desk.

No forced exclusivity

We do not ask for long lock-in contracts: if the service adds nothing to your venue, the unit is removed.

Benefits for the venue

€0.60 for every test taken

30 % of each use belongs to the venue and is settled in writing. It is not a huge income: it is income that did not exist before and costs you no time.

Zero hours from your team

Nobody explains the process, nobody takes payment and nobody refills mouthpieces: the customer self-serves and we handle maintenance. Your bar carries on exactly as before.

Fewer arguments at the door

With a figure on screen, the group stops arguing about how they feel and swaps driver or calls a taxi. That defuses the most uncomfortable moment of any closing time.

A service people talk about

It is new enough that customers mention it and film it. In practical terms: your own content and word of mouth without ad spend.

Installed in one afternoon

Wall or floor mount in a walkway with a socket nearby. No building work, no closing the venue and nothing connected to your till system.

Among the first installations in Spain

Very few venues offer self-service alcohol testing yet. Being among the first in your town is an argument you can only use once.

What happens if your venue does not have it

Nothing dramatic: venues have closed up for decades without this. What changes is the comparison once the place next door has one.

Without the unit, closing time is settled on gut feeling: someone says they are fine to drive and nobody has a figure to answer with. With the unit, the conversation stops being an argument and becomes a reading on a screen.

Someone else takes the difference

Being first in the area works once. Once the venue next door installs it, it stops being an advantage and becomes what is missing at your door.

€0.60 per test you do not earn

Every test your customer cannot take in your venue is a share that never arrives. It is not a huge income; it is income that stays at zero.

The awkward closing time repeats

Without an objective reference, the scene at the door is settled by arguing. It is the moment that wears staff down most and leaves the worst memory.

Less content of your own

The unit generates conversation and spontaneous customer content. Without it, that visibility has to be paid for in advertising.

What it does not involve

It does not mean policing customers or refusing drinks. The machine is voluntary and anonymous: it informs whoever wants to be informed.

Nor does it add liability for the result. The screen states clearly that the estimate is indicative and does not authorise anyone to drive.

Works in any format

It works the same in a neighbourhood bar as in a large-capacity club, and also in temporary deployments for festivals or private events.

If you run several venues, we look at a joint installation and adapt the maintenance logistics.
